About the role

Afterpay is transforming the way people pay and shop. As a People & Culture Business Partner you'll work closely with business leaders to build a high-performance, inclusive culture across your client groups. Flexible start/finish times and WFH days make this a genuinely balanced role.

What you'll do

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on all people-related matters
  • Lead talent management, performance, and development cycles for your client groups
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategy and candidate experience
  • Drive culture and engagement initiatives that reflect Afterpay's values
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on complex employee relations matters

What you'll bring

  • 6+ years of HR business partnering experience, ideally in a fast-paced tech or fintech environment
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices
  • Proven ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders
  • Experience leading organisational change and transformation programs
  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or a related field

How the flexibility works

Flexible hours — core hours 10am–3pm AEST, flexible outside that window. 2 WFH days per week, 3 days in the Sydney office.
