About the role
Brighte is Australia's leading green finance platform, helping homeowners access solar, batteries, and home improvements. We're looking for a commercially sharp Part-time CFO to provide strategic financial leadership as we scale. This is a 3-day-per-week engagement with flexibility to increase during key periods.
What you'll do
- Own the financial strategy, planning, and reporting for the business
- Lead the finance team and develop their capabilities
- Partner with the CEO and board on capital allocation and growth decisions
- Manage investor relations and board reporting
- Oversee treasury, risk, and compliance functions
What you'll bring
- CA/CPA qualified with 10+ years of senior finance experience
- Prior CFO or Deputy CFO experience in a high-growth or fintech environment
- Strong understanding of financial products and lending economics
- Experience with board reporting and investor relations
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels
How the flexibility works
Part-time — 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday preferred). Hybrid with 2 days in the Sydney office. Flexibility to scale up during board reporting periods.
